The Union Hospital Gift Shop is operated by the Service League of Union Hospital. Besides providing volunteer service to the hospital, the Service League plays a key role in raising money to purchase necessary equipment and services. The Children’s Classic Run, held in October, is one event sponsored by Service League to raise money for the hospital. In the past five years, the Service League has raised more than $400,000, which was donated to the hospital. Membership dues are $5 annually for those actively volunteering.
